I'm just saying explain your answer rather than just "DO THIS". I didn't know the LT1 springs weren't for sale or that the lt4s were cheaper.

As for the drop a valve thing ---> grow up.

I'm rebuilding LT1 heads and was trying to keep them close to stock. I guess now I'm rebuilding cylinder heads with LT4 springs! (I just ordered two sets!)

And no, I'm not rebuilding them for my car, so I won't be the one dropping the valves

Sorry, should have clarified further. I left out the word 'set'. The LT1 valve spring set is no longer available and is superceded by the LT4 set.
