Part Number Needed

Hey Shoebox or anyone else who knows...

I need a part number for the bleeder screws on the cooling system. One of mine kinda snapped a few days ago.

That bleeder screw got

$8 bucks for a screw? Are they kidding? Guess I'll have to wait for my next paycheck. Man, that's crazy.

Yes, I noticed they were proud of them. It should be the fitting and the screw. I broke one once on another car and just put a regular plug in it for a while. You can still bleed with it, but it is not as convenient. Maybe on your next trip to a boneyard, you could snag one. Lots of the GM cars use them.

Unfortunately, around here all the newer cars with those little goodies are sold to professionals who strip them down and sell them off for parts so the only things left in the cars is what the vultures missed.

Wow, I guess there could be a black market for bleeder screws.

Maybe that is why they cost so much.
