i'm not sure about yours, but mine is not held on by a u-bolt. Maybe a little more info would help

i have never seen that before.....mine is not even on the firewall, it is in the back side of the strut tower.

the pic is of the stock one I took off my 95z when I put on my Street twin w/adjustable master cylinder.

Are you thinking of the brake master cylinder?? It is near the shock tower. Clutch master cylinder is down below the brake booster, it is hard to see.

nevermind....i'm stupid. I have been thinking of the clutch reservoir . I don't know why I was reading clutch master cylinder but my mind kept seeing clutch reservoir.
