Part number for.....

Hey Guys,

I think my surging idle is due to a clogged IAC. My car died at a light the other day for the first time ever! So I need to stop being lazy and pull the TB and I want to know the part number to replace the gasket.

Thanks in Advance

I hope this is my problem

Shawn

IAC doesn't have a gasket. It's an o-ring. I doubt this is your problem, but I'd try removing it and cleaning it with some carb cleaner before you buy a new one.

Yeah but I have to remove the Throttle Body to get to it and then I need a new Throttle Body gasket dont I????

Also the reason I believe it could be this is because it happened around the time I oiled my K & N filter I believe. The only other change at that time was adding the stall converter so that doesnt make since. It is only at idle and doesnt seem to affect normal driving or throttle response. It revs up and down between 500-1000rpms and only occassionally??

Thanks
Shawn

Just the t/b mounting gasket is GM PART # 10105379 . You can get a gasket at any auto parts store, though.
