parking brake

okay, anyone had this problem- go to pull up the parking brake and pull a little hard and all the sudden it pops free? like with no tension on it whatsoever. of course all you gotta do to fix it is put it back down and try it again. just wondering why this does this. that and does it hurt anything doing that? thanks.

Same thing happened to me once, but I do not know why. It never happened again.

I think it mainly has to do with the automatic adjustment under the console. I have had this problem and took the whole thing apart and have not been able to fix it. You can turn the spring over that connects to the brake but that will cause vibration noise. I have just accepted that it is normal. Shoe box might have some information on it on his site. But I belive this is normal.
