whats a panhard rod do?

 

It centers the rear axle from side to side.

doe sit improve traction what so ever

 

it doesn't impact straight line traction at all. It is a handling mod.

 

It will reduce body roll. For handling, it is a great upgrade for the money.

 

i bought a spohn adjustable for 2 reasons. 1- adjustable to center the rear axle for optimum clearance between the tires and inner fenderwell {315/35/17's on 17x11's}. 2- the stock unit is so wimpy. looks like a piece off of a Tonka toy.
