I am replacing my oil pump and when I purchased a new gasket for the pan there was four other gaskets included with it. Two are red and rubbery - one looks like a large "O" ring and the other has kind of squared off shoulders. Then there are two fiber gaskets that are round. Anyone know what these are for? There are no instructions with the gasket set so I am not sure.

 

Did you get a one piece seal or two?

I think the red ones are front/rear main seals, Don't have a clue about the gray ones

 

I believe they are for the oil filter adapter/cooler.
