Paging STEREOMANDAN. Have you been to the dyno yet?

I stumbled across you site and saw your engine specs and dyno results.
Your dyno results did not have the LT4 springs, bullet muffler and 1.6RR's installed.

Have you been back to the dyno yet?

You and I have nearly the exact same engine specs down to the bullet cat. The only big difference is our headers.

Also did you figure out what screwed up your A/F ratio.

No, not yet, but I do have track results here:
http://www.camaross.com/forums/showt...ght=gains+mods

Since I was at 285 rwhp before, and now I've gained 2 mph from the 1.6 RR's and springs, I'm guessing that I'm right at 300 rwhp.

I'm not sure about the a/f. I'm going to see if it changed when I dyno again, now that I have the 1.6 RR's in there.

Wow, we really do have a lot of the same types of mods.

Im hoping for 300RWHP and 335 RWTQ when I go to the dyno in the spring.
Being as I have a heavy convertible I will be a tad slower than your strip numbers.

One more bolt-on that I have on the way is a set of march underdrive pulleys.
I got a real good deal on some used ones.

Do you have pulleys and what is your take on them?

Also what make is your SS hood and where did you get?
Is it a perfect fit?

Personally, I'm not a fan of the pulleys. At least, the small gains haven't persuaded me to try them. Too many guys having problems with low alternator output, and like I said, the gains don't outweigh the other issues. I've considered trying them though.

The hood is a genuine SS hood that I got from a guy on this board who's Dad works at a dealer. He found an unpainted original SS hood. I had to have it painted, but yes, it's a perfect fit. I got lucky, since he was going to put the hood on his own Z28, but decided to sell the car so he had the hood left over.

BTW, our cars have nearly identical milage too.
