Paging Shoebox, need help IDing wiring harness

This is for z 93 z28 I recently picked up, and a bunch of the wiring was hacked up when he removed his DFI system.

It's on the passenger side, behind the kick panel, there are 3 connectors

White connector: 7 wires
Blue connector: 9 wires
Black connector: 3 wires

I have the connectors, as well as about 18 inches of wiring comming off of it, but no idea where the wiring goes. I checked your sight, but couldnt find what I'm looking for.

Thank you

*edit*
I found a picture of the harness on your sight, http://shbox.com/1/harness6.jpg
Do you know where does the end of the wiring goes?

These are the ends of the engine harness which connect to the interior harness. They go through the rubber grommet in the firewall (passenger side) and connect to 3 connectors inside. (these were under the carpet in my car except for the evaporator connector)

OHHH OK, well Im glad its not the engine harness that is screwed up then. Time to look up interior wiring now.

*edit* anyone know where I can find a digram or picture of an interior wiring harness for a 93 Z28. I assume it may be very similar to 94-95s, so even a picture/diagram from those would help as well.

Thanks

My pics come from my 1995, so no pics of a 1993 for you. I am sure they are all close to the same in the interior, but there are so many wires that go different places, a factory manual would be your best bet for tracing wiring.

do you happen to have a diagram/pic from your 95 showing what wires go where?

I remember you had a link to the factory service manual online in PDF, is that still around somewhere? I did a search, but the only link I found was broken.

Thanks

I've got a 93 manual but don't have a scanner at home. I'll see if I can scan them on Monday.

Re: Paging Shoebox, need help IDing wiring harness

Unfortunately there is no diagram for the whole I/P harness. It's split into many pages for each of the devices connected to it.

I did scan the diagrams for the 2 engine to i/p harness connectors.

Here they are:

C220
C230

If you need help with some specific wires not found on these two diagrams, just let me know their color and I'll try to locate them for you.

Rob, I just emailed you this and some other stuff.

Did your manual have the c210 connector? No rush, but if you could scan that, I would greatly appreciate it.

I really appreciate this, I'm going to need to purchase one of these manuals.

Yea, it does have the C210 but it doesn't have the wire listing like the other do. I'll try to trace them and post here.

BTW, is that a 97+ 540i you got? 6 speed?

fixed the link in my sig, no, thats what rear ended me while I was stopped at over 50mph. I don't want to ever hear anything about these cars not doing well in serious accidents!!

Assuming everything goes well, my SS will be sold in the next few weeks, leaving me with only 1 fbody, so I need to get it sorted out and running for the spring so I can have something fun to drive.

OK, holding the C210 connector oriented vertically with the retaining clip on your left, the cavities are as follows:

D
C
B
A

C210 Cavity A - wire PPL
theft deterrent system - starter solenoid

C210 Cavity B - wire BLK/WHT
ground

C210 Cavity C - wire ORN
data port power (10 amp ECM BAT FUSE) hot at all times

I don't think there's a wire in Cavity D... at least I can't find one. If you can see one in your harness, let me know and I'll look again. This connector was a PITA to look up BTW so next time you're in DeKalb area, I expect you to get some beer.
