Hey shoebox. You posted under one of my threads about no heat. I saw your website from that (witch is an exremely good site), and tried the keyless entry on my girls 95 z. Well when I put the jumper in the locks actuated as stated, but when I tried to push the buttons on the keypad nothing happend. Come to find out the battery was bad in the remote, but when I replaced it it still did nothing. Everytime I would pull the jumper out and replace it the locks would actuate like there were supposed to. Can you help me with whats going wrong? Thanks

You may need to clean the remote. Open it and clean the contacts on the chip with rubbing alcohal. Get my nubber off GCFBA in the members area if you need some help. Sounds like you have a honey-do list going.

 

Hard to say if it might be a receiver problem or a remote problem. Clean the remote like suggested, for starters.
