pacesetters

anyone who has put pacesetters headers on a 93z28 please let me know what has to be done as far as emmissions go.do you block off the egr, and anything else? also does my mad z28 tune have to be updated because they are non emmission?Will I also have to buy new o2 sensors and what kind. any help is appreciated.snareman

i have pacesetter headers on my 93, if you do go with a non emission style header you will need block of plates as you already stated, also since the 1993 uses a 1 wire non heated O2 sensor moving the O2's further back in the long tube will cause issues with them reading correctly and can cause your pcm to cycle between open and closed loop, a guy on the speeddensity forums makes a kit for this to change to heated O2's as are on the 94+ cars.

SpeedDensity.Org is a forum specially for us speed density people not a ton of people know the differences of the 1993 cars.
