pacesetter Y pipe question

Is it possible to get a cat put on a ory that I got with my pacesetter headers. See I live in the great state of NY and I have to have a cat put on at least for the visual inspection. So am I better off having someone fashion it on or just getting a catted y pipe? I have no idea as to this setup, and its just been hampering my header install.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Re: pacesetter Y pipe question

I'm in the same dilemma. A cat will fit on the passenger side with relative ease, but on the drivers side, there is fuel lines and a torque arm in the way. The car is going to a performance exhaust shop on Monday, they are confident that they can get a cat in on the drivers side. I ordered a pair of high flow mini cats from the Pypes exhaust company and they definitely look like they are going to work out. Also, alot of people use Carsound cats. as their choice.
