Pacesetter LT's with AIR/EGR or race?

no performance gains in deleting air and egr, but if you don't need to pass emissions, then i would do it. It really cleans up the engine bay and drops a few pounds of weight as well. Plus, since you have an OBD-1 car, you won't throw any codes. deleting AIR and EGR is really easy. Just buy some EGR block-off plates on ebay and thats it.
correct me if I am wrong but doesnt the EGR suck the hot exhaust gases back into the intake? I know people use CAI to increase performance so it seems that hot exhaust gas would decrease performance.
