Pacesetter LT Question

What are the typical gains after installing a set of Pacesetter LTs with their Y pipe. Also I bought some Fel Pro gaskets, would copper gaskets be better. Thanks for any advice or info.

Re: Pacesetter LT Question

think of it as pumping iron natural, then think about pumping iron on steroids. need i say more???? i noticed a big enough difference that made it worth the time instaling them and the money buying them.

Re: Pacesetter LT Question

Made a nice difference on my car. I used to baby my car and wouldnt really get on it that much. After the headers, i find myself getting on it more and more. it sounds so good, and pulls alot better than it used to. I am very happy with mine, but they were a bitch to put in.

Re: Pacesetter LT Question

The Pacesetter long tubes along with a Madz28 tune made a seat of the pants difference. There are many people on the board that favor the copper gaskets. I am using the Fel-Pro 1406s, however, as are many others and they have worked flawlessly.

Re: Pacesetter LT Question

I put a set of pasesetter LT on my firebird and i could feel a differance, I used the cheap gaskets that came with the headers. they are still sealed after 1500 miles on them. Now they will propobly blow out since I wrote this,LOL.

Sounds like you can definitely feel it. Any numbers though? HP and TQ gains? How much it affected your ET?
