There are two bolts that hold the steering linkage in (I believe they are 13mm, could be wrong), one at the top and one at the bottom near the rack. For the bottom one, you'll need to remove the black plastic shield. Remove the two bolts, and slide off the linkage. You may need to tap it lightly with a hammer to break it loose. Mine took a bit of motivation.

Good luck!

Am i suppose to make a mark or something somewhere? In the notes it says to mark the shaft or something so it is put in right.

I didn't mark anything, and it went back in just fine.

Don't rotate the steering wheel any more that a half to one turn either way while the U-Joint staff is out. If you do you risk breaking the air bag coil assembly (cable that connectors to the airbag).

It is real easy to do. Just soak the thing in PB blaster first. Mine took a good bit of "motivation" with a hammer/ crowbar. I forget if I hit it toward the front or the rear, but I think either way will work. I just threw all that plastic crap away. Also, don't worry about how the hell you will get it back on. I had a heck of a time getting mine off, but it'll just slide right back on, trust me.

I put min in the same time I did the clutch so with no trans or flywheel they fell in without removing the shaft.
