I am about to buy a set of pacesetters LT's of ebay brand new. I was just wanting to get feedback from the people that have purchased them. Are they good, will they fit. Do I need the coating on them, i want my headers black so do I have to get that coating put on? Anyone not have the coating?? THANKS!!

Do some searches on those LT's. I hope you aren't dissapointed. From what I have read, a lot of people don't like the quality of those headers. Apparently, they aren't crafted very well at all. I would suggest coating the headers in any situation. I think Jet-Hot has a coating that is black but I can't remember 100%.

 

I bought a set bare. Welds are ok. The top flanges are rough, i had them milled flush just to be safe. They are HEAVY in comparison to my hookers. Much thicker across the board. Came with EGR/AIR (which i already cut off and welded shut, lol), and o2 bungs. Didnt come with collector flanges.

I am having them nickle coated. They have been at the shop for awhile, i talked to the guy the other day, and he said the first bath didnt come out too well, so hes doing it over.
