Pacesetter Long Tubes w/pics

My pacesetters arrived today After reading about how crappy the quality and weld are on them i was sort of skeptical. But the frist thing i said when i took them out of the box was WOW!. These headers are quality. Granted they are probably not as nice as a set of jet hots, but i wasnt expecting them to be. The welds are nice and neat and strong, the flange is very thick ( havent got a chance to measure yet tho ) I Dont see why everyone is saying pacesetter quality sucks. Maybe it once did, but i am quite impressed with the quality, it exceeded my expectations.

I am going to be installing these next week if the weather is nice enough. I hope the install goes well and they sound as good as the jet hots/hookers. I cant wait.

To anyone thinking about going with these headers i would strongly reccomend it. For the price they are a great product. These headers may be the next header trend for lt1's

Let us know how the install with those goes. I am contemplating getting those as well and want to know how they fit and make sure I'm not getting into crap. They do look good though. By the way where did you get them?

Oh and what did you decide to do with a y-pipe. Did you get their offroad ypipe or having one custom made like I'm going to have done.
