Pacesetter instsall question

I have the headers started and am getting to the point of putting the starter and altenator back on. My question would be about the top altenator bracket, do I need to get it back on? It seems to be more hassle then its worth to me if the other brackets can hold it without issues. Anybody not put it back on?

I deleted the bracket that used to hook to the front manifold bolt. On my car, the top one hooks to the intake manifold.

Dont wanna steal you trade but my question is related to this "alternator brackets" to.

Can you just run the alternateur without the upper brackets that goes to the intake and the lower one that gose to one of the exaust manifold bolts.

I mean that the alternator would be only bolted to the engine front accessories brackets(2 bolts i think).

I've seen a few different pics of people's broken accessory brackets not running either of the rear brackets. I would run the one going to the intake manifold at least.

I didn't bother reinstalling the bracket that mounted to the manifold bolt. I figured the two other brackets would be sufficient...and hey, I was right. You're not hurting anything by not having it, IMO.
