Pacesetter's repuation has really climbed the last year. U dont read to many complains about them. I have the Pacesetter mids, i wish i had the longtubes but oh well. They are almost identical with very very similiar gains to the Hookers. I say for the money the Pacesetters cant be beat.

Re: Pacesetter anyone use them???

they seem to be getting pretty popular. I've been seeing a lot of posts about them lately and I liked the price. I have a set in my closet waiting to go on. Now I am no expert but they seem to be fairly good quality.

Re: Pacesetter anyone use them???

I just received my Pacesetter LT's (Race Version). Haven't put them in yet, but they are definetly a quality product as far as worksmanship and materials. I had the welds checked by a welder I know (my mother) and she said she was very impressed with the quality of the welds. The gaskets they come with are paper, and I have already ordered metal ones from Summit. They also came with wire and connectors for extending the O2's but I bought pre-made extensions. Everything I've read says that they are a good fit and relatively easy to install.

Re: Pacesetter anyone use them???

I got mine through a group purchase from Speed Engineering. Bought a Pacesetter Y-Pipe too. They're a supporting vendor and there's a link to their site on here, the guy I talked to, Sean, was real helpful and answered all my questions, even called me personally to verify which parts I needed. If you're going to buy Pacesetters, I'd check their prices first.

Re: Pacesetter anyone use them???

I have the race ones installed on my car, the installation was a breeze. The hard part was getting the car high enough. I really liked the quality that you got for the price, they are every bit as nice as the hookers. The only fitment issue is that the driver side is extremely close to the floorboard cross brace so I had to bent mine down a bit to keep it from rattling. All in all, best header for the money by far.

Re: Pacesetter anyone use them???

Only problem I had was that 02 extensions were too long, It loosened up one day and hit the road, long story not cool, other than that im impressed.
