ok i have a 97 ta, 85,000 miles,i just replaced the opti with a new gm part i replaced the coil coil wire and plugs and im still getting this code and a very bad miss and pop out my exhaust .i also have a good set of taylor plug wires on the car and ive checked for crossed wires and if check for arching and it checks good.what else can give this code?please help me

 

Does the engine smoke at all? Have you pulled the plugs? All of them? What did they look like?

 

engine doesnt smoke and it reves pretty good when not in gear u can still hear the miss a lil bit but its alot worse under load in gear .if its a blown head gasket wouldnt i have water in the oil? also my car never gets hot enough for the fans to kick on whats up with that?
