P1642, What is it?
My car recently started throwing P1642. What is it? I wired up a fan switch, I just tapped into the ground on Relay #3 to make it spin both at full speed when I turn the switch on, could this cause this?

P1642 Fan Control (FC) relay 2 and 3 control circuit
Yep, that is what is causing it. If you don't want the code, you can add the resistors on the left in this diagram.
