oxygen sensor simulators and smog/ses

oxygen sensor simulators and smog/ses
i had an offroad pipe and oxygen sensor simulators. i had to smog my car so i put the original cats back in but i left the oxygen simulators in there instead of hooking up the sensors. is this bad?
