Oxygen Sensor..- can i run with one?

I went to replace my oxygen sensors today and the passenger side one is stock im a pretty strong guy and i couldnt budge it. i broke the wire part off so its no longer connected to the electrical connector, the car seems to run ok with one, but is it safe to drive like this till i can get someone to torch it out or something?

You can run it that way, but your gas mileage will be horrible. Get it fixed asap.

I'm pretty sure the car will stay in open loop if one of the sensors is disconnected. You can drive it for a while like that, but I also recommend getting it fixed as soon as you can.

I was fixing a dealers 95 Formula with a broken 02 on the pass side and the car ran like ***. Ran really rich, had funky idle, and felt like it was mis-firing at idle. changed the 02 and the car ran great.
