Overheating=fan not coming on or something else?

Guys had my car looked at by a friend because within a min of starting it up it goes straight to 210 and over. He noticed the fan was not coming on so he figured it may be the relay switch at the water pump. Nope,it wasnt that. Someone else mentioned it may be one of the other relay switches. Could it be, if so how and which ones do you check. Also, if you guys dont think its this what in the world could it be. Mods are 97 z28, 6 speed, mods:Lingenfelter cold air intake, throttle body, air foil, pulleys, msd 6al igniton box, 4:10 gear, and 175 shot of nitrous.

Take the thermostat out put it in boiling water and see if it opens up. If it doesn't volia thats your problem.

Try turning the A/C on and see if the fans turn on, they are supposed to when the a/c is turned on.

Might wanna do a coolant flush also, it certainly can't hurt.

Ok, so if I turn the ac on and it blows out than the fan isnt the problem with the overheating?

Yes, but it doesn't sound like you are really having a problem. 210 is not high for just sitting there and your fans are not even programmed to come on at that low a temperature.

No, its now going past 210. It had been just stopping at 210 now it keeps going.
