I was wondering if this kit makes it easier to run the wires if you have headers. Also how yall found the Taylor wires in comparison to the MSD as far as performance goes and if you absolutly must use the Taylor wires from the kit because of the fact they have 90 degree boots. Thanks.

 

I have pics in my sig showing taylor/OVC wires with my jethot LT's. Nice and clean with no problems.

The OVC wires are great for almost any header. Say goodbye to burning wires. As far as which wire is better, you'll get a 1,000,000 different opinions in which wire is best. Me and 4 other friends run the taylors with no problems. That opinion # 1.

 

I pieced together my own OVC kit before I knew that Thunder made one.. Anyway, you can use whatever universal wire you like as long as its 8mm and has 90 deg spark plug boots...You can buy the opti ends from Taylor, but they will crimp onto any 8mm wire. I used the Accel 9000s for years and they were fine, but I like the Taylor Spiro Pros a little better. Header heat is not longer an issue with the OVC, plus my new Jet Hot coating is nice, too, but what sold me was the ease of plug wire removal using the Taylor removal tool for $8...Sooooo much easier to remove wires and check plugs...
