over filled trans, what do i do?

you are correct though, a little over will not hurt and that vent tube will let a little bit out but we dont know how full his tranny is it could be way overfull and just be a hydraulic bomb waiting to happen

just reference to make sure chilton says overfiling will cause slippage, seal damage and overheating ....chances are you will be ok but i dont gamble with 2300 dollar parts

use a vacume pump to take some out ....easy to do.
