what holds the looms to your valve cover? and if i have a burnt wire, and its on the header am i only runing off 7 cylenders?...can any damage come from having a burnt wire?

 

I don't think you'd get any damage, but you'd get some poor fuel economy, and over the long haul you could damage things from your car running extremely rich.

the looms are held in by valve cover screws that come with the looms. they are driven by an allen-wrench.
