OTVC Wires!!!

Are these really necessary for header installation? I hate to pay that much for the kit when I could get a good set for alot less. But if these are a must then I will spend the extra.

They are not necessary but I wouldnt go without them now that I have them. The OVC kit makes everything wire related so much easier. Totally worth it.

i just did the otvc wires from thunderracing they look awesome.i would definitely get this kit. with all these header installs 2 weeks later that same person is always posting a slight miss, loss of power what is it...........with this kit the wires are routed away from the headers. also get the 1200 degree heat sleeves.

I just put the red ones on my car with MAC headers. They look awesome and the red matches the car and looks good against the black. The way they are run makes it almost impossible to touch a header. Definitely worth it.

Yeah i would recommend getting them. They look a lot better imo and you have a lot less chance of burning a wire with them. I got the heat sleaves but really with the hooker lt's or jet hot lt's there isn't really a need for them with the ovtc kit. The wires aren't even really close to the primaries. But if you wanna be extra safe then get them.

You can make your own for cheap with a spool of MSD wires and MSD plug boots. Taylor makes the Opti boots that you'll need.

You can then route them however you wish..

got mine from summit with cut-to-fit MSD Super Conductor wires. i forget who made the wirelooms that mount to the valve covers but shipped it was around $140. oh and i think it was money well invested.

it's worth it. i burned through wires in the stock location even w/ heat shields cuz i could not get them away from the primaries. then went OVC. even light contact will burn them thru heat shields.

I'd get them in an instant. I've had enough problems burning wires

Can they be used with shorties or just LTs?

I too have been toying with this idea. I am sure my MSDs are starting to get torched and with this upcoming header swap I want the wires done right.

Any preferences on the side mount or top mount though??
