OTVC wire routing (Pass. Side)?
OTVC wire routing (Pass. Side)?
Whats the easiest way to route the OTVC wires on the passenger side? I bought the precut Elite OTVC wires and did the drivers side in no time, but I know how much of a pain the regular wires were to route on the pass. side and am simply looking for he easiest way to go.
Re: OTVC wire routing (Pass. Side)?
Remove the plastic wire guide loom that was used for the stock wires from behind the power steering pump, chances are it wont fit your elite wires.
Loosen the two bolts to slide the PS pump forward for more room to work and start the routing, dont remove it.
Starting at the opti and neatly route them behind the PS pump and tube and slightly under and around where the altonator goes and then to the looms on the head or valve cover.
Do this with the altonator removed and it will become clear.

Re: OTVC wire routing (Pass. Side)?
i have elite wires and OVTC setup. Driver side was easy. Pasaanger side was harder, I routed it like mentioned above. However, I found the wires to be a little on the short side and they didn't work out "perfectly" but they got the job done. Next time i have to do this, I will think about not going behind the power steering pump and actually going up the other side of the alternator, should get some more slack that way..........
