Re: OTVC wire install

Here is my set up on OTVC wires on my 93 Firehawk with Mac headers. No problems what so ever. Re: OTVC wire install

I'm using standard GM LT1 wires in the stock mounting rails mounted to the block(the metal channels). I did have to ditch the mount on the drivers side. The one mounted to AIR tube, in order to get enough length to be happy with the clearance of the wires. I have not burned a wire yet....but I did develop a misfire with the Moroso units.

I'm much happier with the stockers rather than the Moroso units I had before....the boots were terrible to get onto a spark plug(too tight, could not feel the "click").

Otvc Kit LT1 Camaro Firebird Trans Am Over The Valve Cover Kit MSD 8 5mm | eBay

found that on ebay. kinda pricey but already sized 8.5 wires will save you some time.

Re: OTVC wire install

I think I paid around 130 bucks for mine from Thunder Racing 2 yrs ago which I heard was out of business. I also had to measure, cut and crimp which was a pain. Its up to you but I think they are worth it and I do like the way they look.
