Original valve seals

Have a set of original valve seals, 8 of them are brown and the remaining 8 are black. I used the instruction paper that stated which for the exhaust and intake, don’t see it anymore. Can someone help.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Original valve seals

There shouldnt be a difference on a stock engine. It may just be coincedence that they are different colors, or you may have some different parts #'s. All mine were the same size/type/color.

Re: Original valve seals

The intake and exhaust valve stem seals are different, unfortunately I don't remember which color is which. From Shoebox's site:

1994-1997 intake valve seal 10212810 $1.08

1994-1997 exhaust valve seal 12564852 $2.03
