Hate to say it, but if you do some searches, you'll find quite a few of us that did not have very good experiences with that place.

They don't give a phone number - now that's customer svc, eh? When I ordered from them and finally got a response to an email, they were rude. All I asked was why the shipping was so high! A simple explanation would've covered it, but nope - they had to be jackasses about it too.

Never again. Jason Cromer or Dal for GM stuff is your best bet. They don't hide behind a computer, you can actually talk to them, and you'll only get charged for what the shipping actually costs, not some massively inflated number they pull out of the air.

they dont email you until your item has been shipped. Goto their website and click "order status" on the top right of the page. I would be willing to bet the status is "Special ordered" takes 2-3 business days to get the item in shipped status.

They claim that no phone support saves you money. Actually, it makes them money and they don't have to be bothered with you.

They took forever (well about two weeks) to deliver my few parts I ordered.

The shipping is a scam in my own opinion. they charge shipping on each part yet they bundle everything together into one box. I bet that one box cost a lot less to ship then what if was shipped independently.

I got my parts and they were a lot cheaper overall than if I had purchased them from the dealer right here on Hawaii.

The dealer wanted 140USD for each O2 I got both for less that the price of one...etc etc etc.. even the disc auto parts centers are more expensive than Gmpartsdirect.

My experience is... I paid a lot less but waited a lot more.

CAN I CANCELL MY ORDER?

they sucks,, they leave you hanging for real, they take your money and customer does not know when the part gets here.

i asked the same question last week before i did my fix. I have no idea really. But the part # MS95580 works just fine. I used that with permatex ultra copper rtv. I think the 1284 is "high performance" what ever that means for a gasket. :P
