Optispark wire harness problem

I just got all the parts from Jason Cromer to switch to a vented opti. I went to plug in the new harness into the main wiring harness and it would not plug up. I looked and the opti plug has two rails on the inside and the the cars plug has only one groove. I am thinking about grinding the one rail down so it will fit. I was just wondering what everybody else is doing, if anybody else has had this problem?

If you are referring to the plug on the side of the intake, just modify it. That's what most people do.

had the same problem when my harness fried on my car. Instead of hacking up the harness, just use a paper clip, remove the wires from the plastic harness, and snap the new wires back into your old connector. Its simple and professional.

I just used a safety knife and cut it out. It fit perfect.
