Are you talking about the o-rings on the shaft, or the seal on the electrical connector?

Re: optispark problem

Are you saying it has not started at all since you installed the new Opti? If so, does it attempt to start.... backfire, cough, etc.? Did you check all the harness connectors to insure they are clean, not corroded and don't have a bent pin? Did you check the ends of the coil wire to insure it isn't corroded? Are you sure you reconnected every item you disconnected..... MAF, IC Module, coolant temp sensor, etc?

Re: optispark problem

I have connected and reconnected every plug and wire in the entire system 3 times, everything...... And the seals that didn't come with the kit and werent replaced were the o rings on the shaft.....It sounds like it wants to start but it just isn't getting spark to the cylinders, WTF!!!

Re: optispark problem

A missing seal wouldn't cause it not to start. Did you mate the opti to the camshaft properly? Here's a link from Shoebox's site showing where the drive pin needs to go:
