When the opti is going does it give a code. Also i have a start problem where it takes 4-5 cranks to get it to start but when it is warmed up it will fire instantly, and that is not all i also been having an issue with my car idlieing when its cold its fine but when it warms up every now and then it will stumble and die dont know what is causing this i changed the following Opti, wires,plugs,o2,thermostat,fuel pump, filter , and fuel filter about 3 months ago and even today i cleaned my maf sensor. The thing that is bothering me is once the car gets warmed it wont idle in drive it will drop the rpms to 3-400 and die even in neutral it will do the same thing i have give it gas just to stay on. I tried almost everything but havent changed the IAC valve this might be next what do you guys think.

 

I think it needs to be monitored with a scanner by someone who knows what they are looking at.

 

Have you done any diagnostic work, or have you just been playing parts replacement roulette?

 

I Had It On A Scanner It Is A Snap`on. My Freind Said That Everything Was Good O2 Reading Right And The Tps Was Reading Correctly I Am Stumped.

 

Was it doing those things you described while it was on the scanner?

 

No it wasnt doing this just the rpms was jumpimng but nothing abnormal.
