Optispark, coils?

Ok so i really would like to get rid of my optispark but i know there is no kit out there that deletes it yet. Then there is the MSD opti which is supose to be solid and have water proof case and go to 10 grand without missing....but i honistly dout that. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get a really solid ignition system out of an LT1. And please dont say replace it with a factory opti, that is a joke lol.

You could also try and find one of the 20-odd Super Direct Ignition/Opti-Eliminator (SDI/O-E) setups that Electromotive made back in the late 90's. They worked well on the 93's because of the batch-fire injection. Totally eliminated the Opti. I ran one on my 94 for a couple years and it was "so-so", but that was because of issues with the sequential injection.
