optispark?

Im pretty sure this is my operater(ME) mistake. i changed my opti this afternoon and i was completely dumb.. when i took off the opti i paid no attention to where it was turned, and then my friend started spinnin it so i was complete unsure on how to install the other opti, so i put it on in hopes of just getting lucky, and now i get no turn over, i have to take back off everything and the opti and this time i want to make sure it goes back on right, is there any markings or anything to line up the opti on the cam so that i know its firing right? blah i hate when this happens but it was my fault so im takin it a lil easier this time hehe thanks guys

Tim

The opti only slides on your dowel pin one way, it's always going to be in correct time.

take it back off, tuirn it over

on the back it will look like a clover leaf, there are three notches between the "leaves", one is different then the other two (strait sides, not indented), that different one goes over the dowel on the cam

It will go in three ways, but if you put it in the right slot the first time, you shouldn't have any problems.

the only slot that is different is the one that i put it in and the car will not fire at all. it will almost run.. i mean it gags running at like prolly 40 rpms and then dies of course.. i know for sure 1 3 5 7 spark plug wires are in the right spot, passenger side was harder to check and i was kinda upset so i didnt look yet think it could be that? blah sucks either way
