Options on quieting this thing down? LT's/Loudmouth

Good God - not sure i'll feel very secure driving this thing around town as I like to play a lot. It's freaking LOUD

What options do I have on quieting it down? I've heard the Dynomax bullets are being used to replace the resonator but does this actually quiet the loudmouth down or simply change the tone?

Anyone replaced the resonator with a chambered muffler? How about one of those small "race" flowmaster mufflers? 2 in the ypipe?

Haha good luck! I had SLP mids, LM and a cat and it was still to loud. The dynomax muffler does NOTHING. You could give the "loudmouth 2" a whirl, it looks like a dynomax muffler though, just costs more. What I was gonna try was setting it up so it was like a borla, have 1 tail pipe go through a muffler and the other tail pipe bypass it.

I'll more than likely keep this setup for a month or so and then switch to the true dual setup using Summits universal X-pipe and some sort of muffler system.

Yeah if you're worried about how loud it is, it may be time to ditch the loudmouth...

Wouldn't recommend the Loudmouth with LT's if you live in a quiet community. I roll in from the track around midnight or so - pretty late for elderly.

i think somebody (maybe dynatech or dynomax or something) makes little cones that you stick in the end of the exhaust tips
i think they're supposed to quiet it down somehow
i might try a search on that
