Optical Sensor

Is it possible to clean the optical sensor using something like MAF cleaner? I have my opti apart and it had some moisture in it. I bought a new opti and the new sensor does not have the mistubishi logo on it like my old one. Does mistu still manufacture the sensors? Do you think it ow

What opti did you buy? The sensor is made in US, as I have seen this just recently from one of my threads. Does it have any markings on it?
The MAF cleaner is good stuff. You just want to make sure there is no residue on the optics when cleaned.

Well, my camera is dead so I can't post any pictures. The opti that I bought was a reman from autozone. The sensor on the inside of the unit did not have any markings on it at all. It was just plain black. I took it back and went to another autozone and found an opti with the mitsu sensor. BTW, my car was throwing a p0336 code and I replaced the crankshaft sensor but it did not fix the issue. From the research I have done, the code points to the opti.

Does it , the code, show for the new opti with the no marking sensor? Or for the old opti you are replacing
