OPTI-> What Brand?

Ok the opticrap finally did what its best at i beleive and I need to replace it. I am looking for somehting on the cheap side, what aftermarket ones are the best to go with?

I would suggest the plain old GM opti as a replacement.

The opti cares little about mods (and you really don't have anything extreme). The only thing that might make someone buy something like the MSD is that it is supposed be be capable of 7k RPM or more. Otherwise, I have seen nothing out there that has been any big improvement over the GM unit (plus it is way cheaper).

I'd say MSD all the way, but I haven't tested any back to back. The one I have is a very solid piece and appears to fix several of the problems with the stock unit.

Sorry, I missed that part. There's a MSD for sale for $425 in the for sale forum, though. Not bad.
