which opti. vented or non vented
which opti. vented or non vented
i have a 94 camaro with the 2000 front end converion and the guy that owned it before me siad that he put a new motor in it before i bought it. and now the opti is messing up and im not sure if it has vented or non vented. i was wondering if i could get some advice or even pictures to compare what i have. i have heard that the later model 94 have the vented one and im not sure if he put a 95 one in or nt. thanks.
Re: which opti. vented or non vented
Easiest way is to see whether or not there is a hose coming from the optispark to the intake elbow. If so that means there is a vented opti in there.
And make sure it is the optispark, there a pain in the *** to do and it may be something much more simple.

Re: which opti. vented or non vented
the car has 130000 miles and it has been missing for a while and i was going to put wires on it but i was just going to do the opti so it will be done. i heard these things just go on you any time.
