opti swap, am i right?

ok let me start i have a 94 and a 95 lt1.

im going to build the current 94 car but want to do a cloyes double roller. so my plan is to take the 94 stuff and put it on my 95 car and my 95 stuff on my 94 car...

i would have to swap harness(opti only)
timing covers
and cam gears? the 94 is splined and 95 has a hole in it
and opti's

this means my cam in the 95 wont have to be changed? because the splined shaft only goes into the cam gear no the cam correct?

thanks

Sounds right. 95 cam will work with 94 setup. The '95 opti won't work with a STOCK '94 cam. If you have an aftermarket cam it will have the bigger recess for the '95 opti.
You will also have to go with an electric water pump if you don't use the LT1 timing set.

Cam dowel pins are different lengths so the cams or the pins (if that's possible) must be swaped.
