opti spark question

I think my car is ready for a new opti spark and was wondering where is the cheapest place to get one. I know that you can get one at the local parts store but is it as good as the gm version. If I do decide to go with the one from the part store is it complete or just the cap and rotor. Also was looking in the summit book and they have two different one's, what is the difference. All I know is my car is a 94 and it is about a hundred dollars higher than the 97. Last question, about how hard is it to put it on and how long will it take me.

Thanks
Josh

Dal from Van Devere. Do a search on him. He was the cheapest when I got one.

Re: opti spark question

My first opti change took me about 4 hours. It was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. The middle bolt on the passanger side of the water pump took me the longest. Try the new msd opti. You can get it at thunderracing.com.

Re: opti spark question

The MSD opti is just a cap and rotor.

I don't know why people can't seem to figure that out.
