could an opti spark problem be causing loss in low end tourqe the car pulls really strong on the high end at like 4-6 grand but barley spins halfway through first gear when i floor it!!!!!!! I ran a 15.1 at 93 mph with 2.3's 0-60ft times with my stock 2.73 gears

 

Anything is possible, but from what you're describing, the Optispark is not the likely culprit. Usually, when an Optispark is going bad, you'll get misfires and hesitation in the upper RPM range.

There are so many variables to check:

I would check the throttle body first. Maybe it needs a cleaning.
