Opti Seal?

I ordered a new opti from Sam, but there was only the opti in the box. Was there supposed to be some sort of seal? I took took my old opti off but I didn't see a seal there either.

Thanks

Re: Opti Seal?

The opti seal is located in the timing cover and a new seal is included in the Felpro timing cover gasket set.

Re: Opti Seal?

if you change the opti seal in the timing cover, it will be good if you replace the other ones also in the timing cover, you can go to auto zone and ask for a timing cover gasket seal kit, it is like 11.99. Just better to do all of them at once while your there then just change the one and later have to go back a change the other ones. Just my 2 cents

No seals come with a new GM opti.
