anyone use anything other than a gm replacement opti? like a summit or accel.. the msds and a dynaspark are a little too pricey for me.

 

i got a WELLS from autozone ...275.00 and its doing well, evan after all the abuse

 

my friend is running an accel and has no complaints about it

 

Wells makes opti's? I thought they only made the cap and rotors..
If 275 is for the cap and rotor only, that's wayy too much $$..

 

Theres been mixed feedback with the Summit and Accel optis. Considering the Accel opti costs around 300 dollars and a brand new GM opti from one of these guys also cost 300 dollars, I would probably be inclined to go with the GM unit: http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2.html#Dal_and_Jason I've had good luck with Jason in the past.

 

dal is like 330, jasons is like 305, so id def. go with jasons
altho i can get a borg warner for 200 from oreillys lol
i just got a MSD cap/rotor tho, only the best goes on my car
