Opti Removal Plate

Was browsing on gmperformanceparts.com and found this part #

12367600 Front Cover / Plug
This cover / plug is used to cover the hole on the front cover of a 1996 LT4 engine when the distributor is removed and a rear mounted distributor is used.

Anyone seen this before?

I figured most 'un-advanced' people don't replace their opti's with standard distributors....

Not really "advanced". Moving to "LT1 Tech".

The plate has been around for years, and is shown in the "How TO Rebuild LT1/LT4 Chevrolet" book.
