Opti question

Alright, previously i posted that my coil was arking. I changed coil, wires, and plugs. I found a broken wire, The problem seemed resolved but last night i popped the hood and noticed my coil still had blue "electric" moving around the bracket and I could see it in the coil wire. If i touched the wire i could see the blue move to where my finger was. I don't see any other wires messing up but it does have a slight miss. Is it a possibility that the opti is wearing out? or something else? I don't understand what else could cause the coil to do this. I also temporarily had an idle issue to where the car when i came to a stop would idle back and fourth from like 700 - 400 until i set still for about 20 second and then it would be fine. But that cleared after a few days and has been gone for over a week now. I'M CONFUSED. No SES light or anything except a security light

make sure the coil wire is all the way in. i had one that wasnt all the way in and it ate the end off the wire. is it wet? did u use electric grease on the ends? otherwise id say u got a bum wire. so it didnt shock u? thats unusual. maybe something else is going on in the opti and the spark has no were to go and is bleeding off??? dont know. i would look to the wire first

Is what you call the "blue electric" a distinct spark, or is it simply a corona glow?

I would assume the corona effect, it's isn't arking anymore but there is a blue glow in the coil wire and also it appears that it is circling around the bracket or edge of the coil, and no it didn't shock me it was inside the wire but when i touchedit the glow moved wherever my finger was
