Opti problems (I think)

So just a few days ago my car started to miss at 1500 to 3000 rpms, but at WOT it will go away and now two days later it is geting worse. So far I havent looked at anything. So I'm guesing it is the opti but could it be somthing else. And also what is the best opti out there.

Thanks

Not a good troubleshooting technique to guess it's the most expensive part Common sources for misses are bad/burnt spark plug wires, fouled plugs or a marginal coil. Yes it could be your opti, but rule out the other parks first.

Is it showing any codes? Do you any way to scan it or do some data logging?

my car had the same problem, except my miss was right at 2000 rpms, turned out to be the plugs, changed those and it went away. Im gonna do plug wires too, just to be safe

No I have not scanned it but it doesn't show a SES light (which I know doesn't mean it won't show somthing when scanned) I think I am going to change the plugs and wires and see if that wont' help
