Angry Opti problems

It had a rattle inside it when I took it out of the shipping box, so I went ahead a opened it up to find 1 of the button screws out. Both screws are also badly rusted. Corrosion and rust on the rotor button. Looks to me like it has been damp in there before. Another member with a 10.xx second lt1 said do not waist my time with it because it will need to be pulled off and replaced with new .

Well I'm thinking I just might have bought a pos opti. What do you people think for a used 10,000 mile gm unit that was new when they bought it for a 383. I think my stock 90,000 mile opti looks alot better and want to return it for a refund.

I didn't expect brand new condition, just much better than my stock unit.
